See how your product-development operating system is really working.
Assess six operating factors associated with development speed, predictability, and customer value—then receive a private, practical profile in about six minutes.
It does not evaluate or rank leaders, teams, or functions.
Assess from your vantage point
Choose a clear organizational scope and answer only from what you can reasonably observe.
Rate observable operating behavior
Use specific 1–7 behavioral descriptions rather than a vague poor-to-excellent scale.
Receive focused implications
See strengths, priority constraints, operating patterns, and practical questions worth investigating.
Define the perspective you are assessing.
These seven inputs frame the result and tailor later guidance. They do not raise, lower, weight, or trigger any diagnostic score or pattern.
Assess how work usually operates—not how it is supposed to operate.
Choose the description closest to the normal operating experience within your selected scope. Do not score the best example, the stated process, or the desired future state.
Scores 1, 3, 5, and 7 have complete descriptions. Choose 2, 4, or 6 when the experience falls between adjacent descriptions.
Select “Not enough visibility” when you cannot reasonably assess a dimension. It is not counted as a low score.
Your result is a private operating perspective, not an audited organizational score or a rating of any leader or team.
No name, email address, account, or IP address is required by the diagnostic. Progress and completed results are stored on this WordPress site under an anonymous reference.
Where are you in deciding how to improve your product-development operating model?
This helps tailor the depth of resources and next steps. It does not change your diagnostic scores or operating patterns.
What is the most important development challenge you are facing?
This is not scored. It simply adds context to your private result and a future MAHD discussion.
Review and adjust your responses before creating the profile.
Your scores and patterns are not calculated until you submit. You can change any response directly on this page.
Creating your operating profile…
Calculating six factors, priority constraints, and cross-dimension operating patterns.
What each factor means—and what your rating may imply
The radar is the overview. These six cards explain the operating capabilities behind the profile. Each factor rating is the average of its two diagnostic dimensions.

Questions worth investigating
Recommended from the current MAHD resource catalog
These recommendations use your operating findings first, then your improvement stage, industry, product context, development approach, and primary outcome lens to refine fit.
Review your results with MAHD.
Your profile provides a starting point. A focused review can test the pattern, identify the most consequential friction, and determine whether a targeted pilot would be useful.
Compare perspectives—only when it adds value.
A cross-functional 360 would let colleagues complete the same diagnostic independently, then compare aggregate results, agreement, and meaningful differences in experience. Your individual result remains complete and private even when you do not continue.
