The MAHD Mastery Zone

The MAHD Mastery Zone is a comprehensive learning portal designed to help key roles and teams delve deeper into the principles and methods of Agile for hardware.

Included with every MAHD Accelerator or in-house learning program, the Zone serves as a powerful supplement to training. Through videos, slide decks, related documents and quizzes, the Zone provides step-by-step guidance on:

  • Initiating an Agile for Hardware project
  • Forming teams for projects of any type and size
  • Understanding roles with comprehensive descriptions and success strategies
  • Executing MAHD On-ramp activities, from planning to action
  • Planning, executing, and reviewing IPAC Iterations and Sprints
  • Overcoming hardware-specific challenges, such as shared resources, task estimation, and aligning with traditional gates
  • Reinforcing learning through quizzes
  • Exploring additional resources, from foundational Agile concepts to advanced topics like decision-making and customer feedback loops

MAHD Certifications

Also included in the Mastery Zone is access to MAHD certifications. These include exams along with guidance for preparation and review. Certifications available include:

  1. MAHD Practitioner – For everyone involved in a MAHD project. 
  2. Key Role Certification – Specific exams and guidance for Project Leaders, Product Owner/Managers and Technical Leaders
  3. MAHD Maestro – For those who are preparing to lead agile transformations, develop operating procedures and train others, this is the ultimate certification.

How to Get Into the Zone

For Teams

Today, the MAHD Mastery Zone is available exclusively to teams that have participated in a learning program such as the MAHD Accelerator. Upon completion, participants are immediately invited to the Zone, where they can explore areas of interest, build a foundation in agile, or test their knowledge through interactive quizzes.

After MAHD training, key roles often return to the Zone to prepare for activities like IPAC iteration planning, download templates, or simply refresh their understanding of key concepts.

For Individuals

While the Zone currently supports team-based training, we’ve received strong interest from individuals eager to build MAHD skills and earn certification. We’re actively expanding the Zone so no prerequisite training is required and it provides a great self-paced learning experience.
